DIESEL TECHNICIAN

NELSON

If you are a qualified Diesel Technician that enjoys working on late model trucks and trailers in a modern ‘state of the art’ Service Department with a great team, then we have a role for you. Our requirements are:

  • New Zealand experience with repairing heavy trucks and trailers,
  • A good team player who takes pride in their work,
  • Excellent diagnostic, communication and problem solving skills,
  • Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.

TRANSPORT ENGINEER

NELSON

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the leading Nelson engineering workshop that provides repairs and new builds to the road transport industry.

  • You will be working in a team of tradesmen and apprentices in a very busy workshop that has the latest tooling, welding machines, press brake, truck hoists etc.
  • The work is varied and includes new deck builds, chassis strengthening and repairs, trailer draw-beam construction etc.
  • A great deal of the work carried out is to the designs and specifications of Certifying Engineers, who you will work closely with. For this reason, the successful applicant will need to have the ability to pass a range of welding “tickets”, which the company will pay for.
  • To be considered for this role you must be a competent Engineer with New Zealand experience.
